Role Overview

As a Sales Manager, you will champion DearWife’s curated collections by blending product storytelling with community-building initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader who can deepen customer loyalty while driving sales through culturally rich experiences. Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Storytelling
  • Design immersive product presentations that highlight sourcing journeys, craftsmanship, and cultural significance (e.g., "single-origin coffee from Ethiopian highlands" or "Japanese washi paper tableware").
  • Train sales teams to articulate product value through narratives, emphasizing sustainability, heritage, or ethical sourcing.
  • Curate themed displays aligned with global trends, such as "Nordic Pantry Essentials" or "Mediterranean Wellness Corner."
  1. Community Engagement
  • Launch monthly experiential events: Examples include "Spanish Tapas & Wine Pairing Nights" or "Zero-Waste Living Workshops," blending education with interactive shopping.
  • Cultivate a loyal membership community through bilingual (English-primary) content, exclusive VIP previews, and personalized loyalty programs.
  • Partner with expat communities, international schools, and corporate clients to host private cultural tastings or gifting pop-ups.
  1. Brand Advocacy
  • Represent DearWife at industry events, media interviews, and digital platforms, promoting our philosophy as a "cultural curator of global lifestyles."
  • Lead sustainability initiatives like plastic-free packaging campaigns or "Fair Trade Month" promotions to strengthen brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to refine brand messaging across channels, ensuring alignment between in-store and online experiences.
Requirements
  • Language: Native-level English proficiency; additional languages (e.g., French, Japanese) are a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years in luxury retail/e-commerce sales management, preferably with multicultural team leadership.
  • Skills: Data-driven decision-making, CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce), and social media analytics expertise.
  • Passion: Deep interest in global gastronomy, sustainable living, and cultural trends. Ability to master product knowledge swiftly.
